For the Glory
Be for the glory and say nothing,
Be for the glory and not cry,
Be for the glory and spirits high,
Be for the glory and humbly pacify.
Be for the glory and not cry,
Be for the glory and spirits high,
Be for the glory and humbly pacify.

My recent painting in oils 36"x34"
Nature has always been my inspiration for paintings. I love all the angles of nature, that are always motivating and a reminder to keep smiling be joyful. Another canvas tittled smiling charm was painted in oils in my favourite tones of yellow, the symbol of happiness.

Start of Spring!
The spring is here,
The snow covers the ground,
No signs of chirping birds,
No signs of green grass,
No signs of smiling crocus,
No signs of myself bicycle,
Still wait for the spring charm!

Working with wax- encausting
It is exciting to create different depths in an art work, it gives a different feel to work. While working on a wood panel using waxes (encausting) I picked my favourite colours orange and yellow that represnt energy and happiness. Encausting is fun, as there is creativity in bringing out the unusal rough surface

Earphones not for me
While jogging this morning, I finalized the topic for my next article. My mind had been lately juggling over the topic. I realized, I had hit different hats. This is what I like, when my mind is thinking while I am jogging and find earhones a distraction. Looking out of the windows helps in gloryfying nature and admiring the changing colours in the sky. I love music, but I am glad earphones are not for me for now.

Hardiest Indoor Plant I Have Come Across!
For me, indoor plants not only reflect ones style, but also bring freshness to indoors. They brighten up the space and make it lively. It is tough to maintain indoor plants in this (Northern) part of the globe. From all the indoor plants I have experienced taking care of, the most hardy is the succulent Snake Plant (Sansevieria spp). They are indeginous to tropics, but remain contented indoors in homes and offices. The leaves are beautiful variegated and with curved ends. The leaves have a rosette arrangement. To my amazement, it remains contented and happy if kept in shade or light. It is a faithful indoor plant that refuses to leave ones company even if not watered for two months. Leaves continue to remain in their glory and are so contented. Because of the beauty and adaptability of this plant it is a boon to adopt this plant for indoors.

WOW! day length is visibly increasing, it is mid January
Snow covered fields in the shadow of setting sun
As I drove by the frozen fields, the temperature was dipped to -23 degree C. It was 4.45 pm in the evening and far off I could see the setting sun. To my amazement I realized the day light length looked drastically increased after the 13th January. In this winter month, light shinning through the clouds at this time felt inspirational and energetic as early darkness can be gloomy and feels the day will be ending soon. During this time of the year I want to see more brightness in the sky. To see increase in the day length in this cold weather was amazing as day length can effect peoples mood, emotions and activities.

Single Peat Moss colonizes a huge region in North America
Every plant of Sphagnum subnitens in North America has been traced to a single parent. It is the most extreme example known of a single plant colonizing sites spanning a huge region.

Motivation for time span for workout?
I know, I am a health freak like many other people around me. Low temperatures dont stop me to go out for workout which sounds crazy to some, especially when roads and pathways are not in their best. Kick off from the house is always in full glory, but time spend in walk/ jogging remains a challenge. I don't have a motivating dress, that I have to fit in, that motivates me to spend time for workout. For me it is all about the surrounding enviornment. At times, it is just after half an hour I want to quit and than follows the dragg time. On the contrary at times, it appears nothing can stop me and that is one of the best feelings. For me time spend is directly proportional to the enviornment were I am. My loyalty towards workout is conditiond by people next to me and the music played that fills in the air. I love the longer durations spend in workouts. Not only I am burning down calories and knocking the doors of my circulation and muscular systems, it is the best time I am planning for the day. The thoughts flow in my mind and make me more energetic. Plugging my ears with ear phones and catching hold of a magazine during workout is a no for me, as it blocks my thinking regions. Wish I am always surrounded by stimulating people and sound tracks for longer time durations. It is me!!
